I. TRAINNING OBJECTIVES
1.1. Knowledge
This undergraduate program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering physics. Students will be provided with knowledge of common subjects, social science and humanities subjects, basic and fundamental subjects of engineering physics, and finally, specialization subjects of nanoscience and nanotechnology, in particular, photonic-, bionano- and nano-technology, computation physics.
1.2. Skills
Training of human resource in science and technology who master and apply advanced technologies and modern equipments in photonic-, bionano- and nano-technology, computation physics.
1.3. Ability
Graduates will be able to conduct research in the specialized fields, to continue their academic interests at the masters or doctors level or to work independently in both the public and private sectors such as in materials/devices manufacturers and joint-venture companies.
1.4. Attitude
Graduates also have good moral quality, willingness to devote him(her)self to the national cause of construction and development, having passion to science and self-improvement of political quality and professional qualification.
II. PROGRAM CONTENT
2.1. Requirements
Total number of required credits is 132, divided as follows:
– Common Knowledge Subjects 33 credits
(not include Subjects 12 to 16)
– Social Science and Humanities Subjects 04 credits
+ Elective Subjects: 04/08 credits
– Basic Science Subjects 25 credits
– Fundamental Subjects 48 credits
– Specialized subjects 12 credits
+ Compulsory Subjects: 08 credits
+ Elective Subjects: 04 credits
– Minor Thesis or Graduation Examinations 10 credits
